Home Theater Reviews

From the moment I called Mike at Toronto Home Theater I knew my basement home theater project was in good hands. I began my project foolishly thinking that I could create a home theater on my own and I quickly learned that this was a project for the professionals. I had made many mistakes and luckily Mike was able to come in and save the day. He nicely pointed out my mistakes and quickly had the solutions to fix them.
Mike was professional, very knowledgeable and great to deal with at all times. I consider myself very knowledgeable when it comes to technology, but if you want a proper, kick-ass home theater, call Mike. Based on my experience, I would recommend Toronto Home Theater to anyone.

Last weekend, one of our kids must have played with some settings on the receiver, and as a result no sound was present when watching tv. I sent Mike a message this morning explaining what had happened. Mike dropped by the house just a few hours later and fixed the problem in a minutes! Mike would not take any money from me for this visit!
Mike is super friendly, very knowledgable, and is honest – just call him and use his services…don’t waste your time and effort looking for anyone else!

Installation of multiple HD flat-screen TVs and surround sound theatre. I took several quotes for my somewhat large job (installing a 32″ Samsung LCD, two 40″ HDTVs, and a 55″ Samsung LED, all wall-mounted and all with cables concealed, as well as a new 5.1 surround sound system) and found Mike to be the most personable and honest, right off the bat. His work ethic and sound judgment were obvious throughout the job, he suggested workable solutions to unforeseen problems that arose, and he made sure that I was pleased with everything before he left. He has since made himself available should I need any help understanding some complicated programs — above and beyond! Truly a delightful experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Toronto Home Theatre.

Wall mount TV and hide all compnents in another room. Based on reviews here we contacted Mike who called back within 30 minutes. Mike came out and assessed our needs, came up with a plan and delivered a solution on time. Living in a condo with our TV located in a small corner, Mike and Chris were able to devise a method to wall mount the TV as we hoped, opening the wall behind the TV to install bracing and supports for the mount and building a custom shelf to hold our very unique audio bar component.
Chris, the carpenter who worked with Mike, did a magnificent job of building and installing the custom shelf as well as repairing the wall after installing the internal bracing. We were able to locate all of our audio/visual components out of site in another room and Mike made sure that everything worked perfectly. Mike was friendly, caring and a consummate professional. We highly recommend his company and will not hesitate to call the next time we have a home theater need.

Outfitted entire home theater with Epson projector on motorized screen with a 46” Sony LCD behind it, along with state of the art sound and setting up the Harmony remote so working everything was a snap. My wife and I recently moved into a new house and during that process we dealt with countless vendors. Some were good, some were bad, but Toronto Home Theater was by far the absolute best.
I interviewed and got estimates from countless other companies in Toronto and at the end of the day, going with Toronto Home Theater was the easiest decision. While their knowledge and genuine kindness made them a pleasure to work with, it was really their passion for their work that set them apart. They love what they do and it shows!
Every person I interacted with from Toronto Home Theater leading up to the start of the project, during the install, and afterwards was great. This definitely isn’t one of those companies where the head guys are good and everyone else doesn’t measure up. All these guys were class-acts the entire time.
The install took about 3 days, and after those 3 days… well, let’s just say that watching TV & BlueRay’s hit new heights that I didn’t think were possible! Every person who has come to my house has been blown away by the system these guys put together. And, to say that I love it, is still such a drastic understatement!
My only complaint was that after they finished the install, they didn’t break down all the boxes, so I had to do that on my own. It’s a small detail, but, when I was breaking the boxes, I couldn’t help but think that I could have spent that time watching my amazing new home theater!
I would recommend Toronto Home Theater fully and with the utmost confidence. Let me spare you the time of talking to all the other people in the city… go with these guys, and then enjoy your new off-the-hook setup that will make your friends ooze with jealousy (…but be sure to share the fun!).
